First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. All types of libraries - school, public, academic and special - participate.

* During the month of April, the library has an interactive display celebrating poetry month. Share your poems, read other poems, books of poetry and so much more!
* Wednesday, April 13th we are celebrating by having cake, please come have a piece!
* Friday, April 15th Elsevier Science is offering hands on demos of products we subscribe to and showcasing some new ones! They are also having snacks and giveaway items. 12-4pm.
* Friday, April 15th Clarkson Authors Recognition even. Food and refreshments will be served. 3-4pm.
@ Health Sciences Library (Clarkson Hall)
* All week, there will be displays and information related to health sciences as well as some chocolate goodies!
